Sons of the Forest has no command that teleports another player to you. The console command goto only moves the player who types it, to coordinates (goto x y z) or a named object, and on a dedicated server it needs a world created with cheats on. Without cheats, the in-game Teleporter takes you, not your friends, to its pad when you use the Artifact.

Is there a teleport player to me command in Sons of the Forest?

No. No console command moves another player, and there is no bring or goto <player name> command in the game. Console commands only affect the player who types them. To meet up, each player teleports themselves to the same place with goto, or you walk, use the Teleporter or a vehicle such as the golf cart. Commands such as bring <name> or goto <name> that you may see online are not part of the game, so they do nothing in the console.

goto teleports you to coordinates or to a named object. Open the console first: type cheatstick while playing (no text box needed), then press F1.
Coordinates and object names come from the Sons of the Forest Wiki console command list. Turn on godmode on first, because a wrong height can drop you from the sky or into the ground.

Can I use goto on a dedicated server?

Only on a world created in the custom game mode with the cheats setting on. The console stays locked on a normal, hard or peaceful world. See how to enable console commands on your server.

What is the teleporter in Sons of the Forest?

The Teleporter is a structure added in the full release (1.0). It lets you jump back to one place from almost anywhere, without cheats.

Find the blueprint

The Teleporter blueprint is in a cave at a camp in the south-west of the island.

Build the Teleporter

Build it from 33 stones, 50 bones and 8 skulls where you want to arrive, for example at your base.

Activate it with the Artifact

Assemble the Artifact from its pieces, then point it at the Teleporter to activate it. Only one Teleporter is active at a time.

Teleport

Switch the Artifact to its ball (teleport) mode by looking down and pressing the mode button, then use it. You arrive at the active Teleporter. Each jump uses 1/16 of the Artifact’s charge (half a bar).
The Teleporter moves only the player who uses the Artifact. It works in caves and bunkers too and needs no power.

How do I teleport a friend to me in Sons of the Forest?

You can’t move another player. Your friend opens the console and types goto with your coordinates, or uses their own Artifact to jump to your active Teleporter.

How do I teleport Kelvin or Virginia to me?

There is no command for that. On a cheats world, addcharacter robby or addcharacter virginia adds a new companion next to you. See Kelvin and Virginia.

Why does “goto” do nothing on my server?

The world was not created with cheats on, or you are using a non-US keyboard layout. Add the US layout in Windows and check the cheats setting in console commands.
