Installing WordPress
Follow these steps to deploy a fresh WordPress installation on your domain.Navigate to Apps
Log in to the Web Panel and click on the Apps tab for your website.
Select WordPress
Click the Install App button. Identify WordPress from the list of available applications and click its icon.
Configure Installation Details
Fill in the deployment settings:
- Domain: Choose the domain or subdomain where you want WordPress installed.
- Path: Leave this blank to install on the root domain (e.g.,
test.com). Enter a folder name (e.g.,/blog) to install it in a subfolder. - Version: We always recommend selecting the latest stable version.
Admin Information
Provide the details for your WordPress administrator account:
- Admin Username: Avoid generic names like ‘admin’ for better security.
- Admin Email: Used for password resets and site notifications.
- Admin Password: Use the built-in Generator to create a strong, 12-character password.
Managing Your Installation
Once installed, you can manage your WordPress site directly through the Apps tab.- Login to Admin: Click the administrative link provided to jump directly to your
yourdomain.com/wp-adminlogin page. - Updates: The panel will notify you when new WordPress core, plugin, or theme updates are available.
- Deletion: If you wish to start over, you can uninstall the application with a single click, which safely removes the associated files and database.
