Understanding how people interact with your website is crucial for growth and performance optimization. Accessing Analytics

Navigate to Analytics

Log in to the Web Panel and click on the Analytics tab in the top navigation bar.

Select Timeframe

Use the dropdown menu to view data for the Day, Week, Month, or Year.

Interpreting Your Data

1. Visitor Statistics

  • Total Hits: This counts every single request made to your server. For example, if a visitor opens a page with 10 images, that counts as 11 hits (1 page + 10 images).
  • Unique Visitors: This is the most important metric for growth. it identifies individual users based on their IP address. If the same person visits your site 50 times in one day, they are still counted as 1 unique visitor.

2. Bandwidth Usage

Bandwidth represents the amount of data transferred between your server and your visitors.
  • Outbound Traffic: Data sent from your server to the visitor (e.g., loading your website pages and images).
  • Inbound Traffic: Data sent to your server (e.g., file uploads via File Manager or form submissions).

Why Monitor Bandwidth?

If you see a sudden, massive spike in bandwidth that doesn’t correspond to a rise in unique visitors, it could indicate a bot attack or “hotlinking” (where another site is using your images/videos on their own pages).
If your bandwidth usage is consistently high despite low visitor numbers, your website files (like uncompressed images) might be too large. Optimizing these files will save bandwidth and make your site load faster for users.
