Critical Settings
1. GameWorld and GameName
GameWorld: Choose Navezgane (default), RWG (Random Generation), or a pregen like Pregen6k.
GameName: Warning: Changing this value creates a NEW SAVE FOLDER. Change this only if you want to wipe the server and start over.
2. Difficulty
GameDifficulty: Range from 0 (Scavenger) to 5 (Insane).
ZombiesRun: Range from 0 (Walk) to 4 (Nightmare). Sets how fast zombies move at night or during the day.
3. Multiplayer & Administrative
ServerMaxPlayerCount: We recommend a maximum of 8 players for standard plans to ensure smooth performance.
TelnetEnabled: Set to true to allow connection from third-party remote admin tools.
4. Land Claims
LandClaimSize: Default is 41 blocks.
LandClaimOfflineDurabilityModifier: Determines how hard it is to break into a base while the owner is offline (Default 4 = 4x harder).
Version Updates
Always keep a backup of your serverconfig.xml. Major game updates sometimes overwrite this file, and having a local copy will help you restore your custom settings instantly.
