Configuration Steps
All Telnet settings are located within yourserverconfig.xml file.
- Enable Service: Set
TelnetEnabledtotrue. - Setting the Port: Set
TelnetPort(Default is typically the Game Port + 1, e.g.,8081). - Security: Set a strong
TelnetPassword.
Connecting to Your Console
- Windows Client: Enable the “Telnet Client” in Windows Features, then run
telnet [IP] [PORT]in the command prompt. - PuTTY: Select the “Telnet” connection type, enter your server IP and Telnet port, and click Open.
