While DayZ’s stamina system provides realism, many high-loot and PvP-focused servers prefer to disable it to allow for more dynamic movement and combat.

The Vanilla Method (cfggameplay.json)

Since version 1.15, you can disable stamina without needing an external mod.
  1. Navigate to /mpmissions/dayzOffline.chernarusplus/.
  2. Open cfggameplay.json and locate the StaminaData block: 
    "StaminaData": {
    "sprintStaminaDecayErc": 0.0,
    "staminaWeightLimitThreshold": 10000.0,
    "staminaKgToStaminaPercentPenalty": 0.0
}
  3. Update your serverDZ.cfg to ensure this file is active: enableCfgGameplayFile = 1;

The Mod Method

If you prefer a “plug-and-play” solution, you can install the Unlimited Stamina mod from the Steam Workshop. Once the @Mod is added to your startup parameters and the .bikey is in your /keys/ folder, the stamina system will be automatically overridden.
