CFTools Cloud is a web dashboard for DayZ servers: you see players, kick and ban, send messages and share ban lists from your browser. It talks to your server through BattlEye RCON. On FREAKHOSTING, set an RCON Password on the Startup page, restart, then sign in at app.cftools.cloud and add your server with its IP, the RCON Port from the Startup page and that password.

Before you start

  • Create an account at app.cftools.cloud.
  • Pick an RCON password of letters and numbers only. CFTools allows at most 32 characters with no spaces or special symbols, and our RCON Password field allows up to 20 characters.

How to connect your DayZ server to CFTools Cloud

Set the RCON password

Open Startup, enter a password in RCON Password and click away from the field; it saves automatically.

Note the RCON port

On the same page, note the RCON Port. You can’t change it; it belongs to your server.

Restart the server

Restart so BattlEye uses the new password.

Add the server in CFTools Cloud

Sign in to app.cftools.cloud and add a new DayZ server. Enter your server’s IP, game port, the RCON Port and the RCON password, then follow CFTools’ checks to confirm you own the server.

Check the connection

CFTools shows the server as connected and lists online players. Join the server and check you appear.

Frequently asked questions

Why does CFTools say it can’t connect?

Check that you restarted after setting RCON Password, that you used the RCON Port from the Startup page (not the game port) and that the password has no spaces or special symbols.

Kicks from CFTools don’t work. Why?

BattlEye can restrict what RCON may do. Open a ticket and we check the RCON settings with you.

Is CFTools free?

CFTools sets its own plans and prices; check cftools.com.

Can I use another RCON tool?

Yes. Any BattlEye RCON tool works with the same IP, RCON Port and password.
