This Mordhau dedicated server guide lists every FREAKHOSTING help page for Mordhau. Your server runs the official Mordhau dedicated server. In the Game Panel you set the name, passwords, first map and updates on Startup, and everything else (mods, admins, map rotation, combat rules, RCON) in Game.ini with Files. New here? How a Mordhau server works in the Game Panel

Two rules save most problems:
  • Change the server name, passwords and slots on Startup only. The panel writes them into Game.ini at every start, so file edits to those lines are replaced.
  • Edit Game.ini and Engine.ini with the server stopped, and use History in the file editor to undo a change.
The first start installs the server (about 6 GB) and creates Game.ini. Stop the server and start it again after that first start so your Startup values are written into the new file.

Does the Game Panel have a Mordhau settings page?

No. Use Startup for the name, passwords, first map and updates, and edit Game.ini in Files for the rest. See Game.ini explained.

Does my Mordhau server support mods?

Yes. Add mod.io mods with one Mods=<mod ID> line each in Game.ini. See install mods.

How many players can my Mordhau server have?
