Performing a Clean Reinstallation

Reinstalling your game server is a powerful administrative action that resets your environment to its factory-default state. This procedure is the ultimate troubleshooting step for resolving deep-seated corruption or when you wish to transition your community to a completely different game or modpack. Follow these steps to ensure a clean and successful reconstruction of your server.

To ensure the most successful reinstallation, we recommend manually purging your existing data to prevent old configuration files from interfering with the new deployment.
1

Select All Files

Log in to the Game Panel, navigate to your server, and open the File Manager. Check the box at the very top to select all files and directories.
2

Execute Deletion

Click the Delete (recycle bin) icon and confirm the action. This ensures your server’s root directory is completely empty before the new assets are downloaded.

Step 2: Initializing the Rebuild

Follow these steps to trigger the official reinstallation process through our management interface.
1

Access Settings

Navigate to the Settings tab located at the bottom of the sidebar menu.
2

Trigger Reinstall

Locate the Reinstall Server button. A verification prompt will appear to ensure you understand the permanence of this action.
3

Confirm & Await

Click Yes, Reinstall Server. Your server status will transition to Installing. During this phase, the panel is downloading the latest game binaries and preparing your environment.

Technical Outcomes

Our system pulls the most recent stable version of the game’s executable and support files from the appropriate repositories (e.g., SteamCMD). It also resets your startup flags and environment variables to their default values.
You can monitor the real-time installation logs within the Console tab. Once the process concludes, your server status will return to Offline, and you may proceed with your initial configuration.

Irreversible Data Loss

Performing a reinstallation permanently deletes all data within your server’s root directory. This includes worlds, player inventories, custom mods, and databases. We strongly recommend creating a Manual Backup before proceeding if you wish to preserve any part of your current setup.
