Maintaining local copies of your server data is a fundamental aspect of professional server administration. While FREAKHOSTING maintains secure cloud-based snapshots, downloading your backups to your personal computer provides an essential layer of redundancy. This ensures that you have immediate access to your world files, player data, and configurations regardless of your internet connectivity or service status.Difficulty

Download Procedure
Follow these steps to transfer a server snapshot from our cloud storage to your local machine.Access the Backups Tab
Log in to the Game Panel, select your server, and click on the Backups tab in the sidebar.
Select Your Archive
Browse the list of available backups and identify the specific file you wish to download.
Execute Download
Click the three dots (…) menu icon on the far right of the backup entry and select the Download option.

For mission-critical community servers, we recommend the 3-2-1 strategy: Maintain 3 total copies of your data, on 2 different storage types (e.g., our cloud and your local HDD), with at least 1 copy located off-site (your local machine).
