Creating backups of your game server on the Game Panel is essential for safeguarding your data and settings. This ensures you can always revert to a previous state if something goes wrong.

How to Create a Manual Backup

1. Access the Backups Tab

• Log in to the Game Panel.
• Select your server and navigate to Management > Backups.

2. Initiate the Backup

• Click the Create Backup button.
• Backup Name: Give your backup a descriptive name (e.g., “Pre-Update 2026-01-14”).

3. Advanced Options (Optional)

• Ignored Files: List any files or directories you want to skip. For example, use !logs/ to exclude the logs folder and save space.
• Locked Backup: Toggle the Locked switch if you want to prevent this backup from being automatically deleted by the system rotation.

4. Start Creation

• Click Start Backup to begin the process. The time taken depends on the size of your server files.
