Strengthening Your Account Security

Two-Step Authentication (2FA) is the most effective way to protect your FREAKHOSTING account from unauthorized access. By requiring a time-sensitive, unique code from your mobile device in addition to your standard password, you ensure that your game servers, databases, and community configurations remain secure even if your password becomes compromised.

2FA Configuration Workflow

Follow these steps to activate multi-factor protection on your Game Panel profile.
1

Access Security Settings

Log in to the Game Panel and navigate to your Account Settings.
2

Initialize Activation

Locate the Two-Step Authentication section and click the Enable Two-Step button.
3

Synchronize Your Device

  • Open your preferred authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).
  • Scan the QR Code displayed on the screen.
  • Input the 6-digit verification code currently generated by the app.
4

Authorize & Finalize

Enter your current account password in the verification field to confirm your identity and click Enable.

Recovery & Backup Management

Upon successful activation, the system will generate a list of Recovery Codes. These are one-time use tokens that allow you to bypass the 2FA prompt if you lose access to your mobile device.
Critical: Save these recovery codes in a secure, offline location (such as a physical notepad or an encrypted password manager). Do not store them on the same mobile device used for the authenticator app.

Lost Device Access

If you lose access to both your mobile device and your recovery codes, you will be locked out of your account. In this scenario, you must Open a Support Ticket from your registered email address and provide identity verification to have 2FA manually reset by our security team.
