Two-Step Authentication (2FA) adds a critical second layer of protection. Even if someone obtains your password, they won’t be able to access your account without a unique code from your device.

Step-by-Step 2FA Setup

  1. Access Account Settings: Navigate to games.freakhosting.com/account.
  2. Initiate 2FA: Click on the Enable Two-Step button.

  1. Link Your Device:
    • Scan the QR Code displayed using an app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
    • Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app.
    • Enter your current password to verify the change.

  1. Confirm Activation: Click Enable to finalize the setup. You will now be prompted for a code every time you log in from a new session.

Backup Recovery Codes

When you enable 2FA, the system will provide you with Recovery Codes. Save these in a safe place (not on your phone). If you lose your device, these codes are the ONLY way to regain access to your account.
