What are Content Manager and CSP?
- Content Manager (CM) is an alternative launcher for Assetto Corsa. It handles quick drive, online servers and your cars, tracks, skins and mods, and can build server presets.
- Custom Shaders Patch (CSP) is an extension for Assetto Corsa. It adds dynamic lights, a scriptable weather engine, extra visual effects, physics extensions and fixes. Weather mods such as Pure and many online servers rely on it.
Before you start
- Assetto Corsa installed through Steam and updated.
- Windows Vista or later, .NET Framework 4.5.2, the Visual C++ 2015 (x86) Redistributable and the DirectX June 2010 runtime (from the Content Manager page).
Step 1: How to install Content Manager

Download from the official page
Download Content Manager from assettocorsa.club/content-manager.html or acstuff.club/app. Avoid copies on other sites.

Extract and run it
Extract the archive into a folder of its own and run
Content Manager.exe.3
Point it to Assetto Corsa
When asked, select your Assetto Corsa install folder (the Steam game folder). Content Manager then lists your cars and tracks.
Step 2: How to install Custom Shaders Patch

Open the CSP settings
In Content Manager, open Settings and then Custom Shaders Patch.

Install the patch
Content Manager offers to install the patch and download its configs. Follow the prompt to install it. The recommended version (v0.2.11 on 30 October 2026) is the safest choice for online racing.

Start the game from Content Manager
Start a quick drive from Content Manager. CSP is now active, and its options appear under Settings > Custom Shaders Patch.
How to update CSP
Open Settings > Custom Shaders Patch in Content Manager again. It offers to update the patch when a newer version is available. Online servers that require CSP state a minimum build, so update when a server asks you to.What are CSP preview builds?
Preview builds are early versions of CSP. The Content Manager page says they are available to supporters through Patreon or Boosty. You don’t need them for normal online racing. Install them only if a server or mod you use requires a preview build.Does my Assetto Corsa server need CSP?
