Manually editing dozens of .ini files can be tedious. The Content Manager (CM) desktop application features a robust server management tool that allows you to configure your server visually and export the data.

The “Pack Data” Workflow

Instead of launching the server locally on your PC, you can use CM to create a perfectly formatted configuration bundle for your FREAKHOSTING dedicated server.
  1. Open Content Manager and go to Server.
  2. Set up your track, cars, rules, and sessions using the graphical interface.
  3. Click the Pack button in the bottom bar.
  4. CM will generate a .zip file containing all the necessary .ini and JSON data.
  5. Upload this zip to your FREAKHOSTING server root and extract it to apply all changes instantly.

Error Prevention

Packing data from Content Manager ensures that your entry_list.ini and server_cfg.ini are perfectly synchronized with the track and car assets installed on your local game, eliminating common “Car Missing” errors for your players.
