Customizing the Simulation Environment
The mechanical behavior of vehicles on your Assetto Corsa server is governed by a set of physics multipliers. Whether you are hosting a hyper-realistic endurance league that requires strategic pit stops or a casual drifting session with infinite tires and fuel, understanding how to manipulate these variables is essential. These settings are defined within your core configuration files and apply globally to every driver on the circuit.Difficulty

Core Physics Parameters
To adjust the simulation intensity, you must modify the following variables located within yourserver_cfg.ini file.
- Tire Degradation
- Fuel Consumption
- Mechanical Damage
TYRE_WEAR_RATE: Controls the speed at which rubber is consumed during driving.
100: Standard realistic wear.0: Disables wear entirely, providing infinite tire life (ideal for practice or drift sessions).
Community Profile Recommendations
Depending on your server’s theme, we recommend the following baseline configurations.Professional League Racing
Professional League Racing
Maintain all values at 100. This ensures a level playing field where tactical decisions regarding tire management and fuel maps are a core part of the competition.
Casual Drift & Freeroam
Casual Drift & Freeroam
Set Wear and Fuel to 0. We suggest a Damage value of 10-20. This setup allows for continuous uptime without requiring pit stops, while still providing a minor penalty for major accidents to encourage safe driving.
