A Palworld crossplay dedicated server lets players on Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac join the same world. On a FREAKHOSTING server, choose the platforms in Palworld settings > Access and admin > Crossplay platforms (CrossplayPlatforms). All four are allowed by default. Steam and Mac players can join by address; Xbox and PS5 players find the server by name in Community Servers.

Which platforms can join a Palworld dedicated server?

The default value is (Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac), as listed in Pocketpair’s configuration docs.

How to change crossplay platforms

Open Palworld settings

Open your server in the Game Panel and click Palworld settings under PALWORLD.

Choose the platforms

In Access and admin, find Crossplay platforms and choose which of Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac may join. Leave a platform out to keep its players out.

Review and save

Click Review and save, then Save changes.

Restart the server

Restart the server.

How console players join

Your server is listed as a community server. On Xbox or PS5:
  1. Open Palworld and choose Join Multiplayer Game.
  2. Open Community Servers.
  3. Search for your server’s name (Server name in Your server) and select it.
  4. Enter the join password if you set one.

Is Palworld crossplay on dedicated servers?

Yes. A dedicated server can accept Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac players at once, controlled by Crossplay platforms.

Can Xbox players join by IP?

Join by address is for Steam and Mac players. Xbox and PS5 players use Community Servers.

Why can’t my friend on Xbox find the server?

Check that Xbox is allowed in Crossplay platforms, the server is running, and they search for the exact server name. Everyone also needs the same game version.

Do all players need the same game version?

Yes. Keep Auto Update on in Startup and ask players to update their game.
