On official “Hard” settings, hatching a massive egg can take up to 72 real-life hours. For most community servers, this is far too slow. By adjusting the PalEggDefaultHatchingTime multiplier, you can make hatching take minutes or even happen instantly.

Configuration Steps

  1. Access Settings: Open your /Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini file.
  2. Hatching Multiplier: Locate the variable PalEggDefaultHatchingTime=1.000000.
  3. Adjusting Speed: This value works as a direct multiplier of time.

Production Speed

To speed up the actual “making” of the eggs in the Breeding Farm, locate:
  • WorkSpeedRate=1.0: Increasing this (e.g., 2.0) makes Pals finish tasks faster, though they will consume hunger more rapidly as a trade-off.
