Advanced Terraforming: TEdit
TEdit is an essential external map editor for Terraria server administrators. It allows for “out-of-game” world manipulation, such as mass-cleansing corruption/crimson, copy-pasting complex structures from other worlds, or instantly fixing chest glitches.

Professional Workflow
To prevent world corruption, never edit a world file while the server is active.- Server Shutdown: Stop the server process entirely.
- Download: Connect via SFTP and download your
.wldfile from/Saves/Worlds/. - Edit: Open the file in TEdit on your PC. Perform your terraforming or structural changes.
- Save & Upload: Save the file in TEdit and upload it back to the server, overwriting the original file.
- Restart: Boot the server to verify the changes.
