Server Defenses
Falcos Prop Protection (FPP) is the essential shield for any Garry’s Mod server. Without it, a single player can delete the map’s ground (if it’s a prop), freeze the server by spawning massive collision objects, or “prop-kill” other players in safe zones.

FPP is usually included with DarkRP or can be installed as a standalone addon.
- Hold Q to open the Spawn Menu.
- Click the Utilities tab in the top-right.
- Locate Falcos Prop Protection in the sidebar.
2. Recommended Anti-Grief Settings

| General Settings | Enable Cleanup on Disconnect | Automatically deletes a player’s props when they leave to prevent clutter. |
| Antispam | Enable Big Prop Spam Protection | Blocks players from spawning oversized objects that cause physics lag. |
| Toolgun Options | Restrict Remover to Admin | Prevents unscrupulous players from deleting other people’s buildings or world props. |
3. Buddy System
FPP includes a “Buddies” feature. If you are building a base with a friend, you can use the FPP menu to grant them permission to move or edit your props specifically, without granting the same power to the rest of the server.
