Gameplay Customization: multipliers
Palworld gives you deep control over the survival experience, allowing you to turn a hardcore grind into a fast-paced “creative” adventure. These settings are stored in a single, massive configuration string in your PalWorldSettings.ini file.

Configuration Guide
- Stop the Server: Edits to the settings file will not apply and may be overwritten if the server is active.
- Access the File: Open
/Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini.
- The Syntax Rule: All settings must remain on one continuous line within the
OptionSettings=(...) block. Do not add line breaks.
Popular Multipliers

ExpRate | 1.0 | Increase | Speed up leveling; e.g., 2.0 = 2x XP. |
PalCaptureRate | 1.0 | Increase | Improves the chance of catching Pals. |
CollectionDropRate | 1.0 | Increase | Increases materials gathered from nodes (Wood, Stone). |
CollectionObjectHpRate | 1.0 | Decrease | Makes mining/chopping faster by reducing node health. |
Difficulty | None | Keep None | Setting to Hard or Casual may override your custom numbers. |
Handling an Empty File
If your PalWorldSettings.ini is completely blank, you must first paste the default “Template” block from our Knowledgebase or the DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini file in the game root before you can begin customizing.Support Channels
