Setting a server-wide join password is the most effective way to prevent unauthorized players or bad actors from entering your world. Palworld distinguishes between the Server Password (required to join) and the Admin Password (used for administrative commands).

Setup Guide
- Stop the Server: Configuration changes should never be made while the server is active.
- Access INI: Open
/Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini. - Define Password: Locate the
ServerPassword=""entry and type your password inside the quotes.- Example:
ServerPassword="JoinSecret123"

- Save & Restart: Once the server reboots, all players will be prompted for this password.
