Alerts tell you when something happens to your server, such as a crash, a failed backup or a full disk. You can get them in Discord, by e-mail or at your own web address. Once a channel is on, your server is checked for crashes every minute.

Open Alerts

1

Open your server

Sign in to the Game Panel and click Manage server next to your server.
2

Click Alerts

In the sidebar, under MANAGEMENT, click Alerts.
Alerts page with the channels Discord, E-mail and Webhook, and switches for Status, Backups, Account and Resources alerts

The Alerts page

The top of the page tells you what is on, for example No channel is on yet or Sending 5 kinds of alerts to E-mail.

Choose where alerts go

Switch on one or more channels. Every alert goes to all of the channels that are on.

E-mail

1

Switch on E-mail

Turn on the switch next to E-mail. Alerts go to the e-mail address of the server’s owner.
2

Send a test

Click Send test message. You see Sent: E-mail sent to the owner of the server. Check your inbox.
You get at most 6 e-mails per hour. Discord and webhooks have no such limit.

Discord

1

Create a webhook in Discord

In Discord, open the settings of the channel you want alerts in, then go to Integrations > Webhooks > New Webhook, and click Copy Webhook URL.
2

Paste it in the panel

Next to Discord, click Set up. Paste the address into Discord webhook address.

Setting up Discord alerts

3

Save

Click Save and switch Discord on.
Anyone who has your webhook address can post in that Discord channel. Keep it private.

Webhook

For your own tools or bots, click Set up next to Webhook and enter a web address, then click Save and switch Webhook on. Every alert is sent there as JSON with a signature. Only public https:// addresses work.

Choose what you’re told about

Under What should I be told about?, switch on the alerts you want. Only the alerts you switch on are sent.

Quiet hours and limits

These settings stop alerts from waking you up or flooding your channel.
Quiet hours and limits section with a Quiet hours switch, Most alerts per hour, Repeat the same alert at most every (minutes) and Memory at the limit for (minutes) fields, and a Recent alerts list with a sent test message

Quiet hours and limits

Click Save to keep your changes, or Discard changes to undo them.

See recent alerts

Recent alerts at the bottom lists the latest alerts and test messages, and where each one was sent, such as E-mail: sent. Click Refresh to update the list.

Troubleshooting

Check your spam folder. Make sure the E-mail switch is on, and that you haven’t already had 6 e-mails in the last hour.
Check that the webhook still exists in your Discord channel settings. If you deleted or changed it, click Set up again and paste the new address.
It arrived during your quiet hours or went over your hourly limit, so it wasn’t sent.
