Hardening VPS Panel Access

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds a critical layer of protection. By requiring a code from your mobile device or a physical hardware key, you ensure that only you can manage your servers, even if your password is stolen.

Method 1: Authenticator App (TOTP)

Follow these steps to link your mobile device to your cloud account.
1

Access Security Dashboard

Log in to the Cloud Portal, click the Account link in the primary navigation, and select the Security tab.
2

Scan QR Code

Use your preferred app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or Bitwarden) to scan the QR code displayed under the Two-Factor Authentication section.
3

Activate Service

Enter the 6-digit code currently shown in your app and click Activate TOTP.

Method 2: YubiKey (OTP)

For users requiring physical hardware security, our portal supports YubiKey OTP tokens.
1

Insert YubiKey

Plug your YubiKey into your USB port and stay in the Security tab mentioned above.
2

Inject Token

Focus on the input field in the YubiKey OTP section and press the physical contact button on your device.
3

Link Device

Click Enable to finalize the hardware link. Your account now requires this key for login.

Preserve Recovery Access

When you enable 2FA, the system will provide Recovery Codes. Save these in a safe, offline location (like a physical notebook or a secure password manager). They are your only method for self-service recovery if you lose your phone or YubiKey.
