Accessing New Content

By default, FiveM servers run on an older version of the GTA V engine to maintain maximum stability. However, many modern resources (especially clothing and vehicle packs) require assets from newer DLCs like the Cayo Perico Heist or The Contract. You can access these by enforcing a newer game build.

1. Selecting Your Build

Common game builds currently used in the FiveM community include:
  • Build 1604: Arena War (Legacy Standard)
  • Build 2189: Cayo Perico Heist
  • Build 2372: Los Santos Tuners
  • Build 2699: The Contract
  • Build 3095: The Chop Shop (Current Recommendation)

2. Configuration via FreakPanel

  1. Access your GamePanel.
  2. Go to the Startup tab.
  3. Locate the Game Build field.
  4. Enter the build number (e.g., 3095) or add it to your server.cfg manually:
    sv_enforceGameBuild 3095

  5. Restart the server. Upon joining, players will be prompted to download the specific DLC assets required for that build.

While newer builds provide more assets, some older scripts may rely on specific engine quirks found in Build 1604. If you experience crashes or menu failures after changing builds, verify that your core framework (ESX/QB) is updated to support the newer version.
