Total Server Control

vMenu is a powerful server-sided trainer and administrative menu for FiveM. Unlike client-side menus (which are often blocked as “cheats”), vMenu is installed on the server, allowing owners to precisely control which players have permission to spawn vehicles, change the weather, or teleport.

1. Installation & File Placement

  1. Download the latest release from the vMenu GitHub.
  2. Create a folder named vMenu in your /resources/ directory and upload the files.
  3. Critical Step: Locate the permissions.cfg file provided in the download and move it to your main server directory (next to your server.cfg).

2. Activation Sequence

Open your server.cfg and ensure you execute the permissions before starting the resource:
# Execute vMenu permissions
exec permissions.cfg

# Start the resource
ensure vMenu

3. Granting Admin Powers

To give yourself “Superadmin” powers within vMenu:
  1. Open permissions.cfg.
  2. Locate the “Principals” section.
  3. Add your Steam Hex or License identifier: add_principal identifier.steam:11000010a2c3d4e group.admin
  4. Ensure the administrative ACE is active: add_ace group.admin "vMenu.Everything" allow

Public vs. Private

By default, vMenu is highly restrictive. If you want regular players to be able to use the menu for basic tasks (like changing their character’s clothes), you must find the group.everyone section in permissions.cfg and change those specific deny lines to allow.
