Integrations

Cloudflare

Use this if your domain uses Cloudflare’s nameservers instead of ours. Once connected, the panel sends your DNS records to Cloudflare for you.

What the Cloudflare integration does

After connecting, make all DNS changes in our panel on the DNS records page, not in Cloudflare. Before you connect, copy any records that exist only in Cloudflare into our panel.

Step 1: Create a Cloudflare API token

1

Open Cloudflare's API tokens page

Sign in to Cloudflare and go to dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens.
2

Use the Edit zone DNS template

Click Create Token and choose the Edit zone DNS template. The token must have Zone.Zone and Zone.DNS edit permissions.
3

Copy the token

Cloudflare shows the token only once, so copy it now.

Step 2: Add the token to the panel

1

Click Connect on the Cloudflare card

Then click Add under Cloudflare API tokens.
2

Fill in the form

Give it a Friendly name (for example My Cloudflare) and paste the API token.
Add Cloudflare API token form with Friendly name and API token fields and Cancel and Save buttons

Adding your Cloudflare token

3

Click Save

Your Cloudflare account is now connected.
1

Point the domain to Cloudflare

At the company where you registered the domain, set its nameservers to the two Cloudflare gives you. Cloudflare then answers DNS for the domain, using the records our panel sends it.
2

Choose the token on the domain

Go to your website’s Domains tab and click ⋮ → Manage on the domain. Under the domain name, choose your Cloudflare token in the Cloudflare drop-down.
3

Let it sync

If the domain is already in your Cloudflare account, its records are replaced with the ones from our panel. If it isn’t, it’s created there for you. From now on, every DNS change you make in our panel is copied to Cloudflare automatically.

Turn the Cloudflare proxy (orange cloud) on or off

On the domain’s DNS records, click ⋮ → Edit on a record, switch Proxy status on or off, and click Save. With the proxy on, visitors reach your site through Cloudflare’s network (caching and protection); with it off, they connect to our server directly.
Syncing only goes one way: from our panel to Cloudflare. Records you add directly in Cloudflare are removed at the next sync, so always add them in our panel.

Slack

The Slack integration posts website and user notifications for your account to a Slack channel.
1

Create an incoming webhook in Slack

In Slack, create an Incoming Webhook for the channel you want and copy its URL. See Slack’s guide to incoming webhooks.
2

Add it to the panel

On Integrations, open Slack, click Add under Slack channel and paste the webhook URL.
Once it’s added, notifications about your websites and team members appear in that channel as they happen. To stop them, remove the webhook from the Slack integration page, or delete the webhook in Slack.

Troubleshooting

The panel’s records take precedence and overwrite Cloudflare. Add the record again on the DNS records page in our panel.
Create the token from the Edit zone DNS template and make sure it covers the domain’s zone with Zone.Zone and Zone.DNS edit permissions.
