Users, sign-in and debugging

Users section with an Add user button and a user row, the Single sign on account selector and Debug switches for WP_DEBUG, WP_DEBUG_LOG and WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY

Users, Single sign on and Debug

Manage users

Click Add user and enter a username, email address and password. Click ⋮ on a user to Edit them, Change password or Delete them. This is the quickest way back in if you’ve forgotten your WordPress password.

Sign in without a password

Under Single sign on, pick which WordPress account the Admin button signs you in as.

Turn on debugging

If your site shows errors or a blank page, the Debug switches help you find the cause:
Turn debugging off when you’re done. WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY shows error details to every visitor.

Remove WordPress

Delete at the bottom of the Toolkit removes the WordPress install. Take a backup first if you might need it.

Troubleshooting

Turn off Maintenance mode in the General section.
Open Plugins and click Deactivate on the plugin you added or updated last. If you can’t tell which one, turn on WP_DEBUG_LOG and check wp-content/debug.log.
Click Admin to sign in without it, or use ⋮ → Change password in the Users section.
