Plugin Requirements

In Counter-Strike 2, advertisements are handled via CounterStrikeSharp.
  1. Ensure Metamod:Source and CounterStrikeSharp are installed.
  2. Download and deploy a dedicated “Advertisements” plugin to your server.

Configuration Logic

The primary configuration file is located at /addons/counterstrikesharp/plugins/Advertisements/advertisements.json.

Customizing Visibility

  • Chat: Appears in the standard text chat box.
  • Center: Appears as bold text in the middle of the player’s screen.
  • Interval: The delay in seconds between messages. We recommend 180-300 seconds to avoid cluttering the chat.

Color Palette

CS2 supports standard color tags within chat messages. Common tags include {Red}, {Blue}, {Gold}, {Green}, and {Default}. Using these tags makes your announcements “pop” and improves readability for new players.
