Breaking the Team Barrier
In standard competitive Counter-Strike 2, communication is restricted to teammates. However, for casual environments, surf servers, or community hangouts, enabling “All-Talk” allows for a more social and interactive gaming experience.

Configuring All-Talk
To enable cross-team communication, you must modify several variables in your/game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg file.
- Open your
server.cfgin the FREAKHOSTING file editor. - Paste the following commands:
- Save the file and Restart the server.
Granular Control
If you want to allow global chat but keep specific restrictions during matches, consider these alternatives:- sv_talk_enemy_living: Set to
1to allow living enemies to hear each other. - sv_talk_enemy_dead: Set to
1to allow dead enemies to hear each other.
