Unlocking Server Potential

Enabling sv_cheats allows you to execute powerful developer commands that are otherwise restricted. This is essential for competitive practice, grenade testing, or movie-making sessions.

1. Permanent Activation (Config)

To ensure cheats are always enabled when the server starts:
  1. Log in to your FREAKHOSTING Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to the Files tab and open /game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg.
  3. Locate or add the following line: 
    sv_cheats 1
  4. Save the file and Restart your server.

2. Temporary Activation (Console)

If you only need cheats enabled for a single session:
  1. Open your in-game Console (~).
  2. Type rcon sv_cheats 1 and press Enter.
  3. The server will immediately allow commands like noclip, give, and sv_infinite_ammo.
