Frequently asked questions
Do I need a licence key to run a FiveM server?
Yes. Every FiveM server needs a free licence key from the Cfx.re Portal. Without a valid key, the server does not start. See how to get a FiveM licence key.Is txAdmin included?
Yes. txAdmin is installed and always switched on. Click Open txAdmin next to your server’s IP to open it on port40120. See how to set up txAdmin.
What is the difference between the FXServer build and the game build?
The FXServer build (the “artifact”) is the server program, which you change on Artifacts. The game build is the GTA V version players must run, which you set under Game build on Server config. Can I install QBCore or ESX?
Yes. Use a txAdmin recipe to install QBCore, Qbox or ESX, then create a database for it. See how to install QBCore or ESX.Related guides
