If you no longer need a service, you can cancel it yourself in a few clicks. Cancelling stops future invoices for that service.

When a service is terminated, all its data is permanently deleted and can’t be recovered. Download your files, worlds, databases and configs before you cancel.

Cancel a service

Open the service

Go to Services → My Services, then click the service you want to cancel.

Click Request Cancellation

In the Actions menu on the left, click Request Cancellation. The Cancel service page opens, showing the plan, its price, the next due date and how long you’ve been a customer.

Step 1 of 3: Reason

Choose the reason that fits best, such as It’s too expensive, I’m not using it enough, Moving to another provider or My project has ended. For some reasons we’ll ask you to tell us a little more in a sentence or two. Click Continue.

Step 2 of 3: Options

Depending on your reason, we may offer a way to fix the problem instead, for example passing your message straight to our Customer Experience Lead. Accept the option, or click No thanks, continue to cancel.

Step 3 of 3: Confirm

Choose when the service should end and confirm your cancellation. You’ll receive an email confirming the request (you can find it again in Email History).
Changed your mind on the first step? Click Keep my service to leave without cancelling.

When does the service end?

The service keeps running until the end of the time you’ve already paid for, then stops. No more invoices are created.

After you cancel

Open a ticket with Billing & Accounts straight away. We can usually withdraw a cancellation if the service hasn’t been terminated yet.
Cancelling doesn’t refund you automatically. See How to Request a Refund to check whether your purchase qualifies.

You don’t need to cancel. Turn auto-renewal off and pay invoices yourself instead.
