Your billing cycle is how often you pay for a service. Longer cycles cost less per month, so switching to yearly billing is an easy way to save.

Change the cycle

Open the service

Go to Services → My Services, then click the service.

Click Change Billing Cycle

The button is at the top of the page, next to the auto-renewal and renew buttons.

Choose a new cycle

In the Change Billing Cycle window, open Choose Billing Cycle and pick a new option. Each option shows its price, for example €14.54 Semi-Annually.

Check the dates

The window shows your current Next Due Date and the New Next Due Date after the change.

Confirm

Click Confirm. If anything is due, an invoice is created; pay it to complete the change.
The Billing Overview at the bottom of the service page shows your new Billing Cycle, Recurring Amount and Next Due Date.

Good to know

Yes. On the order page, use Choose Billing Cycle to pick 1, 3, 6 or 12 months before you check out. The page shows how much you save.
A one-time or first-month discount usually applies only to the original order and won’t carry over to a new cycle.
Yes. Switching any active service to yearly billing completes a FREAK Pass quest worth +500 Bolts. See FREAK Pass quests.
Pay any invoice created by the change before its due date in My Invoices, or the service may be suspended.
