Transfer Your Service to Another User

Before You Start
Requirements for Transfer
| Requirement | Details |

| Active Service | The service must be in active (not suspended) status |
| No Outstanding Invoices | All invoices for the service must be paid |
| Recipient Account | The new owner must have an active FREAKHOSTING account |

Create an Account First
If the person you’re transferring to doesn’t have a FREAKHOSTING account, they’ll need to register before the transfer can be completed.
How to Transfer Ownership
Step 1: Access Your Service
- Log in to the FREAKHOSTING Client Area.
- Navigate to Services > My Services.
- Click on the service you wish to transfer.
Step 2: Open the Ownership Transfer Tab
- On the service details page, locate the Ownership Transfer tab.
- Click on it to access the transfer options.
Step 3: Enter New Owner Details
- Enter the email address of the new owner’s FREAKHOSTING account.
- Review the transfer terms and conditions.
- Click Transfer Ownership or similar button to initiate the transfer.
Step 4: Confirmation
- The new owner will receive a notification about the transfer.
- Once confirmed, the service will be moved to their account.
- Both parties will receive confirmation of the completed transfer.
Transferring Panel Access
Important: Billing vs Panel Access
The Ownership Transfer feature in the client area only transfers billing ownership of the service. This means:
- The new owner will receive future invoices
- The service will appear in their client area
- They can manage the service from a billing perspective
However, panel access is NOT automatically transferred.
For VPS Services
If you’re transferring a VPS, you must also contact support to transfer ownership in the VPS Panel:
- Complete the billing transfer using the steps above.
- Open a Support Ticket.
- Request the VPS panel ownership to be transferred to the new owner.
- Provide the new owner’s email address used for the VPS panel.
For Game Servers
If you’re transferring a Game Server, you must also contact support to transfer ownership in the Game Panel:
- Complete the billing transfer using the steps above.
- Open a Support Ticket.
- Request the Game Panel ownership to be transferred to the new owner.
- Provide the new owner’s email address used for the Game Panel.
Support Ticket Template
When contacting support for panel access transfer, include:
- Service Name/ID: [Your service identifier]
- New Owner Email: [Their email for the respective panel]
- Confirmation: “I have completed the billing transfer and request panel access be transferred.”
What Transfers with the Service
Via Self-Service Transfer (Billing)

Data and Access
The new owner will have full access to all data on the transferred service once panel access is also transferred. Ensure you’ve removed any sensitive personal data you don’t wish to share before completing the transfer.
Transfer Restrictions

| Domain transfers | Domain names may require a separate transfer process |
| Promotional pricing | Discounts/promotions may not transfer to the new owner |
| Account credits | Cannot be transferred between accounts |
Billing Considerations
Future Billing
- The new owner assumes responsibility for all future invoices
- Any remaining time on the current billing period transfers
- The new owner’s payment methods will be used for renewals
- Existing automatic payments will need to be reconfigured by the new owner
After the Transfer
For the Previous Owner
- The service will be removed from your billing account
- You are no longer responsible for future billing
- If panel access was also transferred, you will no longer have access to manage the server
For the New Owner
- The service will appear in your My Services section
- Set up your preferred payment method for future renewals
- If this is a VPS or Game Server, ensure panel access has been transferred
- Review the service configuration and settings
